Location is less than ideal. turning left from the hotel reveals a rundown area with minimal dining options and unpleasant odors near the exit. The afternoon sun made one room unbearably hot. Breakfast lacked variety for Western tastes — only a decent omelette stood out among primarily Asian offerings.

My stay was really enjoyable with stunning views from my spacious room and a fantastic breakfast buffet with plenty of choices that fueled my city explorations, making it easy to stroll to nearby attractions like the vibrant han market less than a 5-minute walk away and the charming phap lam pagoda just a short 10-minute walk down the road. while the hotel is generally modern and accommodating, the soundproofing could be improved for a more restful sleep.

The breakfast spread was the real MVP, with loads of local and international bites to munch on. Plus, the rooftop pool is an Instagram dream! Spotlessly clean rooms made my stay super comfy.

What I didn’t appreciate was being charged for a stain on a towel that wasn’t ours. Always best to check 'em before use, I say!
